II Region de Antofagasta, in Chile is the host of some of the most important Astronomical facilities in the world (ALMA and APEX in San Pedro, Paranal close to Antofagasta) and for a very good reason. This is a series of photos I made for some colleagues and friends. There is only some color development (in Lightroom) but no alteration regarding the “content” of the images. The nights there are simply breath taking.

All photos were made using a simple head lamp (red colour), long exposures (30+ secs), an external Flash, patient “models” and the precious starry night.
