Hey.

A very sad thing happened today.

A bird I found, Wales, has just died.

He was flying around in our house, and got knocked out because he flew into a window. My sisters were actually the first ones to find him. We brought him down and tried to give him some water, but he didn’t respond. I did some researching but nothing useful turned up. We brought him outside to try one more time, but he wasn’t responding at ALL. I searched on Google, “How to tell if a bird is dead”. One of the signs was, and I quote, “Dull, unfocused eyes.” Wales’ eyes were open wide and staring into nothingness. He was dead.

Our caretaker (in the way that she cooks food for us) buried him right in our front yard. Rest In Peace, Wales.
