Before deciding on how your shop sign, book cover or even a newspaper is going to look, you should definitely reexamine the final draft. From these bad design examples, though, you can see, that they were not revised. Or were left as they are as some evil joke to the customer. If you do not desire to be left with doors that only open for a Jedi, a Minion shampoo bottle crying bloody tears, or a street sign that's utterly indecipherable - better not mess with the designer.
These funny design fails are here to show you, that good designers usually deserve more credit than they get. They put up with a lot more nonsense from clients than we think, and they can prevent you from making unfortunate design choices like the ones on this list. If you don't want to end up looking foolish, a good designer is worth the money!

This Drain Is Higher Than The Ground Surrounding It

This is due to the ground settling. Durimg construction they usually end up digging into virgin soil and the boxes get placed on top. (These inlet boxes can be very deep esp on large sites since They gravity drain). They dont settle because the ground underneath them has never disturbed. Unlike for the rest of the parking lot, which normally requires either/both excavation of the land and/filling of low spots. Sometimes they will over excavate and have to refill. Anywhere the ground wasn't properly compacted over time will settle, and the pavement above will also eventually settle. Sometimes it happens due to unforscene reasons, though usually it's due to improper construction.

Actually, there is a reason for this. Fisheries department required us to put something like this in when we diverted a creek through culverts. It looks like a drain, but is actually to allow light into the creek for the fish. Yes, fish skylights, so they can see. I'm not kidding. They don't want storm water going directly in the creek as it needs to go through oil separators, so a few yards away is likely a similar looking drain lower than the surrounding grade.

I think once the road has been re-done a few times it is never the original grade in proper flush with the drains. Awesome municipal contracting.

Lol no, 普洱茶 which you pronounce it as 'Pu-er' in Chinese is a very healthy tea that dose indeed help with digestion (+ other health benefits). Reason why it is called 'Pu'er' is because the tea originated from Pu'er city located in Yunnan Province in China, hence Pu'er tea. Its other name is 滇青茶 which means 'Yunnan green tea'.

In my school, there's this lock on the bathroom stall that is broken. Once I was looking for my friend in the bathroom stalls cuz we were chasing each other like idiots. This is from nitra in Slovakia and if you look closely you'll see the disabled sign after the doors. The text basically says "Disabled in the nitrian shopping center should park for example also inside the doors.
