I picked off the fuzzy blooms from a bunch of pussy willow branches and replaced them with small ovals of polymer clay. Some are made from leftover patterns I had created long ago. Some are made from solid colors of polymer (fimo, sculpey and other brands…they bake at 275 degrees).

I attached the baked oval shapes to the branches with a hot glue pen. The bouquet makes a lively display that fools the eye on first glance and then delights and surprises. Take that, Mother Nature!
