The Brazilian photographer Daniel Mag is known for creating photo shoots with lots of lights and colors. This time, he decided to use Brazil’s most popular party to create the fashion editorial “Divino Carnaval”.

The photographer says he already had the desire to produce an editorial about the carnival for some time. “I had nothing accurate about carnival, but that combination of turquoise, blue and orange was something I had not explored yet”, Daniel tells to Resumo Fotográfico.

“I thought it was the right moment to photograph an essay about the carnival, applying an expressive and striking language; so I took that color combination in the rehearsal lights. I started calling some people to collaborate and the editorial was taking that proportion that you can see in the video.”

For the shoot, Daniel used a Canon 5D Mark IV camera, with 50mm, 85mm and 100mm lenses. For lighting, he used 5 to 7 flashes of Godox models TT685 and AD200, with Godox Xpro transmitter. The modifiers used are Mako, Atek and Selens. See below the result:
