Something I have always been fascinated by is how creative people can be when it comes to food — especially pastries and desserts. Even though I am a huge fan of the simpler things in life, like a vanilla cupcake covered in Funfetti frosting, I admire the detail and precision that certain chefs put into their work.

Take Chef Cédric Grolet for example. Not only was he named best pastry chef in 2016 by the Relais Desserts association, but his showstopping, artistic approach to food has put him at the top of his industry.
