“Out of Place” Photo Manipulations by Robert Rickhoff
Some of the ordinary objects we pass daily are so familiar that they would hardly make us look at them twice – unless something about them was completely odd. German photographer Robert Rickhoff applied this notion to his photo series “Out of Place”, where he added some really funny touches to the every-day places and objects.
The situations Robert depicts in his photo-montages are always highly impractical, somewhat illogical, yet always carry a good dose of sense of humor. His pictures usually need a second look to actually notice the oddities, but once you spot them, you’re bound to like his irony. Thank God these situations are only digital!
