Designer Rachel with Posh Fairytale Couture wanted to create something original, but still recognizable as a siren without being mundane. I of course, was ecstatic to shoot this because while everyone loves mermaids, this was something of its own, and I knew that we could create a series completely unique working together.
She made the prosthetics, crown, and did her makeup. I was able to bring her vision to life with the help of model Kira Conley and some frigid water on an RV park shoreline.
