It has been 3 months since I left the children and the volunteers from Njoro Primary School, Moshi, Tanzania, but I can still feel the excitement in my memories.

We started to build a library. Where to find a better place if not in Tanzania, at 6000 km away from home? Why not? Sun, plumeria flowers, African rhythms, smiling people, Kilimanjaro Mount and beer!

We started the construction being full of enthusiasm and children from school watched us curiously, we were as exotic as the snow for them. I always had camera with me to capture their everyday life during breaks.

We quickly became friends with these children. We did not need the words; I did not know them anyway. We spoke through signs and smiles, and it was enough.

They have so many needs, you can see it from the photos, but even having so little material things, their souls are free. Their joy is honest and simple. They do not need any uselessness to enjoy their childhood: food, an improvised ball and the painted sky. I think they all are infected with the happiness virus.

And the library construction for those wonderful children was recently finished.

Happiness comes from within! These children have their good mood and games everywhere they go

That kind of games that in Europe are already covered with dust

The virtual world did not replace them yet

The teachers have the right to punish children in the lack of discipline applying them several blows with a stick that have higher education in children schooling

It was so shocking that for them to be punished was just an ordinary activity, like to eat

The meals are modest and served by hand, without any cutlery

There is never too much rise and beans, which make their everyday food

Children were excited about making group photos, or when they were with their classmates

But when I was trying to take singular photos, isolated, their moods changed, as if I was stealing their privacy, neglecting their comfort zone

Children became irritated and ran away with a neutral look, trying not to reveal any emotion, but their eyes told more than any words
