No One Came To This Kids ‘Stranger Things’ Birthday Party And Here’s How Millie Bobby Brown Reacted

There’s something about ‘Stranger Things’ that seems to have attracted the nicest people to the cast. Following on from the well-known exploits of David Harbour (who plays policeman Jim Hopper in the show), some Stranger Things cast members have reached out to support a heartbroken boy after nobody showed up to his birthday party.

Young Aaron Alambat held nothing back on his ‘Stranger Things’ themed party, with a kickass cake, Demogorgon blood punch, and party decorations based on the popular TV show creating the perfect atmosphere. Sadly, the classmates that he invited all decided that they would give Aaron’s party a miss. For anybody, let alone a child at school, something like that can be extremely upsetting.

Aaron’s sister Ayen was, putting it mildly, pretty angry with the situation. “My brother invited 8 of his classmates for his Stranger Things party & none of their punk selves showed up,” she wrote on Twitter, together with some pics of Aaron’s sweet set-up.

Her tweet quickly went viral, with tons of sympathetic people offering their support and telling Aaron that they would’ve loved an invite. Ayen’s tweet has since been shared over 57,000 times and eventually came to the attention of some of the cast of ‘Stranger Things,’ with Millie Bobby Brown replying: “What!!!! Oh Well, You can let them all know that everyone on behalf of Stranger Things would’ve come! I think you’re awesome and next year I would like an invite… Please?”

Way to make a kid’s day! Fellow star Gaten Matarazzo also joined in, offering to bring the cake for next year’s birthday bash. Ayen later shared pics of her brother smiling, and it turns out he had an amazing birthday after all, despite the no-shows. They probably regret it now!

My first real birthday party my Grandma (only person who raised me) saved for months and put on a HUGE chuck e cheese party for me, I invited my entire class.. No one shows, at all, my entire party we are the only two ppl at the huge table, while other kids parties filled the place we sat there the same as we did ever year, alone, I gave all my tickets I won that night to another family & went home.. To this day, never had a party with more than 2 other people 😢 I know how he felt

When my eldest was in 2nd grade, we spent all our money to rent out a putt putt golf place for his party and nobody showed, not even one person. After that, we made birthdays family affairs so nobody would ever be heartbroken again. We do movies or gaming parties with just us and it's really nice to enjoy it and not stress over anything.

IDC what all the haters and doubters say. Some celebrities aren't as shallow as to say they'll come and not do it when the time comes. The fact that these celeb's even took the time to notice, let alone RESPOND, is pretty amazing. I believe that if invited, she'll show up

This is sad, but I don't get how this keeps happening to people. Is it not normal that invites are given out, people reply (like by text, or their parents phoning up cos we're talking kids here) to say they're coming or not? Then what happens? After saying they're coming, they just don't turn up? Or is it the thing in some parts of the world to just issue invites without expecting any reply and have a party regardless? Any party my 11 year old kid has, or has been invited to, everyone responds yes or no so you know exactly who is coming and who to cater/pay for. If no one said they were coming, the party would be cancelled or rescheduled. Is this not the normal way to organise a kid's party?

Who is the one to blame, the kids who didn't come or their parents? Anyway, you will have a FANTASTIC birthday next year, Aaron, and you deserved it ! And you have a great big sister :).

Wow. I was once invited to a party by a boy that is really annoying but I went and as soon as I got there, it was only me and him. Finally another girl showed up but no one else came. There was supposed to be about 15 people there but it was only me and the girl who showed. I know he was annoying but no one deserves to be stood up on their birthday. I was so glad I came, it was an awful party but I never would have forgiven myself if I skipped it.

Happy birthday Aaron, hope you have a wonderful year ahead. Don't worry about those people who did not come to your party. What matter is you have a good family who truly cares about you. God bless.

I don‘t know how old he is but for all the people saying it‘s their parents fault.. hm i‘m not sure about this. Yes, something went wrong if they didn‘t cancel and tell aaron they aren‘t coming. I wonder what people they are. I would only invite friends and therefore they would at least apologize that they can‘t come. And I know the feeling when nobody shows up, but I can‘t imagine how heartbreaking it must be not knowing that nobody will come and just sitting there and waiting. I hope the celebs will remind their words if it really comes to an invite, otherwise it would be really mean and destroying

Things are getting crazy in the US. My friend's daughter decided not to have a birthday party because her SCHOOL has said that you cannot invite just your classroom friends to your party, you must invite the whole class. The daughter knew would have been too expensive (think 30 kids) and she doesn't get along with some of the kids in her class, and didn't want to deal with them on her birthday. What a crappy thing for a 9 year old to have to consider her family's finances on her birthday! Thanks to the school for that nonsense!
