We used our special relationship in the concept of our brand: “George & Georgette”, mismatched shoes for kids. Our shoes are different from each other but yet form a perfect pair! They look sometimes very similar, sometimes not, like real life twins!
We are twin sisters separated by an ocean (US -EU) that decided to put an end to boring shoes! We wanted to revisit the idea of “a pair” and create something refreshingly bold and original. Shoes that really take you OFF the beaten paths! We’d like to expand to women’s shoes then to any other “pair” concepts like earrings and gloves! And while unpairing and making very visible shoes, we aim to help and stand for invisible people like the homeless. All the way down to the packaging, we’re thinking of ways to encourage people to take little actions towards the less fortunate.
