My Hand Carved Fireplace Mantles And Shelves Inspired By My Love Of Marine Life
My name is Gil Watson. I live in Homosassa Florida, USA where I own a small community gallery. One of my greatest inspirations is carving and sculpting the marine life in my area. Using various types of woods depending on my clients requirements, I try to get as much depth and motion in order to have the pieces come alive. With regards to finishes I like to alternate between natural stains and painted washes in acrylic and oils.
