Washington Heights and Inwood are my turfs in Northern Manhattan where I live. A lot of people may be familiar with Grand Central or Penn Station but upper Manhattan has its fair share of interesting subways, at least how an artist sees it through their eyes. Here are 2 drawings of the escalators going up to 181st and one, of the main platform that is featured here. You can see more of my subways at www.lcicioart.com

Hi, I'm Len Cicio, a draftsman who works in colored pencils, wax art bars, pen&ink and oil pastels. I intermix these mediums to create a surrealistic vision of the NYC subways and landscapes of Northern Manhattan where I live in Inwood Park. My work can be seen at http://lcicioart.com/ and in local restaurants, and the NYC libraries .
