Once our driver stepped off the main road, on little alleys around the cliffs, I could feel the ocean. It is something very strong and magical in the savage, untouched nature of Bali. It is a call to change, to believe in the force of the Universe, to surrender.

At the end of the road, there was a little sign with The Ungasan Clifftop Resort, and then we’ve stopped on a huge property, with tennis courts, gardens and smiling people.

Everything was white inside and turquoise outside. It is the most spectacular place I’ve ever seen.
