We are celebrating Dussehra in India on 11th October. Dussehra is a Hindu festival that celebrates the victory of good over evil. Dussehra also symbolizes the triumph of warrior Goddess Durga over the buffalo demon, Mahishasura. Thus, it is a celebration of victory of good over evil. It is also a celebrations to honor the triumph of Lord Rama over Demon Ravana.

The festival is celebrated with much excitement and fervour across the country. People revel in the festive tide by wearing new clothes, put on tilak or kumkum on forehead, exchange gifts, prepare delicacies, watch Ramlila plays and later in the evening burn huge effigies of Ravana.

Here, we have created a Ravana and burning the same to illustrate the triumph over evil.
