Today I have something different then usual – no pouring! I want to present you Crafty muffin92 :) It’s me – Marina, Fiona’s stepdaughter.
Just as I promised some time ago, I found some courage now to videotape my process of making a cake – I hope you will like the content. I’m thinking about starting my own youtube channel, that’s why I’m uploading a video on Fiona’s channel, and therefore I would much appreciate any suggestions and corrections on the content of the whole video.
The theme of the cake that I made has originally came in my mind as I was visiting my neighbour at her vegetable garden, and as the spring is blooming, I though about making garden scene with veggies on the cake. I gifted the cake to her and she was absolutely excited about it.
I made a pineapple cake, which I frosted with buttercream, and covered in fondant. The decorations were made out of white fondant, in which i mixed some of the food colouring – I’m using Rainbow dust gel colours as I find them the most intensive. Feel free to ask me anything you would like to know about the whole process of making the cake. I learned everything that I know about cakes on my own. :)
