Hello to the Bored Panda Team,

I want to share a story that has been making waves online—one that I’m personally so grateful to say has been inspiring people across Malaysia and beyond.

I’m an ultramarathon runner taking on a 400 km challenge at the Route 68 Ultra to raise funds for TNRM Malaysia (Trap-Neuter-Release-Manage), an NGO dedicated to controlling stray cat and dog populations through humane spaying and neutering. The fundraiser works on a pledge-per-km basis, meaning every kilometer I run directly translates into funding for TNRM’s vital work.

Recently, SAYS Malaysia featured my story, and it resonated with thousands of readers, leading to a surge in pledges [https://says.com/my/lifestyle/malaysian-running-400km-to-raise-funds-for-stray-animals].

Then, unexpectedly, it got picked up by another viral page, which helped even more. The response has been incredible—but we need to keep this momentum going!

I’d love for Bored Panda to feature this story and help reach an even bigger audience. It’s a unique mix of human endurance, a meaningful cause, and a viral-worthy mission. If you’re interested, I can provide more details, photos, or anything else you need to make this an easy share.

Would love to hear your thoughts! Thank you for your time, and keep up the great work sharing inspiring stories.

Hopeful,

David Christopher
