Marina Ponomareva has furnished more than a dozen houses with her own hands. The fragile girl creates from scratch intricate sofas, capacious wardrobes, dining tables, soft ottomans and stools, massive chests and slender bookcases, dining sets and oriental couches, complex-shaped dressing tables and three-piece vanity sets, elegant rocking chairs and extremely cosy screens, street benches and even entire gazebos. This can’t be, you might think. But it can!
The artist creates all this furniture, mostly shabby, in miniature. Models from 1:12 to 1:4 are so similar to real things that sometimes one doesn’t even believe it until sees the pictures together with the owners — pretty dolls.
Detailed projects and whole interiors made by the hands of Marina are worthy of respect and admiration.
