There are a lot of wonderful art pieces that you can find in the streets. However, there are also a lot of boring sculptures and Prague is not an exception,

The fairly mundane bronze sculpture Rebirth (such a fitting name!) that can be found close to the National Theater has a new knitted look. Recently, it was made into a Mexican painter Frida Kahlo and will stay like that for a whole year. Of course, her favorite monkey and Tehuana costume need to be included.
In fact, the statue was reborn for the third time already. It was once made into a Gustav Klimt’s Women in The Gold, another time into Marilyn Monroe from the famous scene from The Seven Year Itch. Frida Kahlo is its third masquerade.

Knitting camouflage has quickly become a tourist attraction. Come to see :-)
