Kazou was found as a kitten when his eyes were already badly damaged from the cat flu. Sadly, they couldn't be saved and had to be surgically removed.
But that hasn't stopped him since – far from it!
Kazou is a very curious, sassy, and fearless cat. Besides chasing bumblebees, of course, he loves being outside in his very own cat proof garden and feeling the sun on his belly.
Everyone who meets Kazou is thrilled by his behavior. Even if he's eyeless, I bet he can see with his heart. I'm sure he can!
You can follow Kazou on his Facebook and Instagram page.

Kazou and his best friend Odean. Together they have 8 legs and 1 eye... ;)
Always a cute smile on his face.
I love it when cats are content in their "bread loaf" pose and just a teeny bit of their tongue is sticking out. This is a close second.
It looks so natural even without its eyes.... like it could do anything a normal cat does
It just goes to prove that cats really are little furry ninjas, they don’t need their eyes to be able to see. Beautiful photos of a gorgeous Ginga Ninja =^..^=
HE. HE. HE! Not it! For heaven's sakes. Do you let people call your children it's?
"I can smell something..."
"Human? Come on, follow me inside. I'm hungry now!"
Love this little rosy nose.
This is the sweetest posting I have seen in a while. Wonderful pictures and comments.
Did I mention that he's curios?
thank you for saving such a beautiful soul and these pix are amazing...I have a blind foster that was actually taken back to the rescue because of another reason..it broke my heart but he is doing very well and is with the owner of the rescue and she loves him as much as I do...he probably will not go anywhere unless he comes back to me...I see him and keep up on his health issues which I hope are almost over. He is amazing very loved.
God bless you for your heart! You both are an inspiration in this world to be the best (and happiest) we can be with what we are given. Best post I've seen in a while. Thank you <3
Aw thank you so much! That's exactly the lesson I learned from Kazou myself. So glad that my photos could express that message.

My 21-year-old kitty went blind several years ago to cataracts, but she was still truly fearless! Jumping on things, laps, demanding treat, cleaning the other cats... she passed away last Saturday and took a huge piece of my heart with her across the rainbow bridge.
So sorry to hear about your cat, i had a cat called BA who lived until he was 21 too, he had 1 eye, 3 legs and no tail by the end but he was happy and fearless until the end, i miss him so much everyday and that was 6 years ago. RIP to our beautiful feline friends.
Load More Replies...Yesssss!!! This is amazing. Best post on BoredPanda in a long time. So beautiful and such a sweet lesson about life down here on Earth.
You should talk to my Mom. She has a blind cat she rescued after it had been hit by a car and left at the side of the road for 14+ hours as a 6week old kitten, which damaged her eyes. Her name is Justice and she's queen of her domain. To the point she's recently started killing birds and bringing them to Mom on a weekly basis.
I hate tears this early in the day, even if they are happy ones. Thanks for posting these up, I do so miss my own fuzzy buddy.
I had a cat with a deformity, and honestly, I loved him so very much that other cats who were "normal" looking, never looked quite right. He was my perfact normal.
Amazing pics, wonderful handsome cat, he is clearly so content and happy, we had a rescue cat called BA who only had 1 eye, makes me miss him so much reading this. Love to you both, so glad you found each other.
Such a beautiful kitty. I love him so much!! I hope he gets plenty of snuggles. He certainly deserves them!!
Your photos of your lovely boy are so beautiful Sabine! Art and heart <3
It's hard to feel sorry for Kazou after seeing these pictures. Clearly he has a full life. I had a cat named Ragamuffin who went blind in her last couple years of life. Fortunately, she was confined to my bedroom, and had no problem finding her food or the litter box (thank goodness!). RIP, Rags - I will always love you.
One of the best things I´ve seen here, thank you for sharing this beauty with us! Your cat is awesome!
What a handsome fellow!! His color is beautiful & I just want to kiss his pink nose!!
Kazou's loving, friendly spirit can be delivered to the viewer from the pictures.. This animal knows something that we don't.. old soul...
This is why humans are the best. For all the malevolence people are capable of, we are also motived for the polar opposite (and have the capability for surgery). Thankfully cats have an amazing sense of smell and hearing so they wouldn't be as hampered as humans are by blindness.
Wonderful cat and a wonderful owner. I am so happy to see that even though the kitty is disabled, you managed to give hima fullfilling, happy life. I liked a lot the pics in the snow and how he enjoys the warm sun. Heartwarming!
I had an amazing kittie Blind from birth he lived to be 15 Indoor and outdoor, he knew how to navigate his world.
I met a dog recently who didn't have a right eye and he was gorgeous. This kitty looks gorgeous too.
I love the pics and you have an obviously wonderful friend there but I would love to know what your shooting with.
What a beautiful cat. Kudos to you for sharing these awesome pictures. I can tell from these pics that this lovely precious cat is truly loved and cared for. God bless you both!!
Such a beautiful story and just stunning photographs. You are very, very talented. Thank you for sharing both!
Don't worry, it's a cat proof garden (a closed area). I would never let him out in any other way!

Definitely not safe to let the poor thing out (other cats) and teaching it lessons and where to go. I'm not saying that the photography isn't beautiful- it's beyond gorgeous. I'm just pointing out another side to owning a cat like this, especially as someone with a disabled cat myself.
Thank God this cat cannot see. If she could see herself in the mirror she would immediately kill her self. What a ugly hideous cat. Kill it!
You look at it, realise it's a cat and pet it ^-^
