Some comics perfectly sum up what every long-term relationship is like, but Bonnie Pang’s work is a long-term relationship. The cartoon artist said her series IT Guy & ART Girl is entirely based on the moments she shares with her partner, and they’re absolutely heartwarming.
“I have been creating funny comics since I was little, maybe 6-7 years old, so I have been making comics for about 20 years now,” Bonnie told Bored Panda. “I believe my first comic was a spin-off of Three Little Pigs. In it, they were running a restaurant, so the wolf would come to have some actual food instead of the pigs themselves. Throughout my school years, most of my comics had been fan comics of shows and movies that I loved, and around 2013 I began making original comics.”
“I had been creating a heartwarming-wholesome style cute drawings on Webtoons called Roar Street Journal for 3 years. I had a great time making it, but I wanted to try creating other comics as well. Coincidentally, my fiancé and I got engaged this year, so I thought it’s a good time to start a relationship comic.” And since Bonnie has been documenting their little moments in sketchbooks since they started dating, she had a lot of cute couple material to work with.
“In Roar Street Journal, even though all of the characters were animals, most had stories inspired by my personal experiences. But IT Guy & ART Girl rely on them 100%. Sometimes, however, I exaggerate things a bit to make the story funnier. So please, don’t believe that every story in the series had happened exactly the same way in real life, too!”
According to the cartoonist, the best thing about creating comics is having all of the creative freedom and being able to interact with the readers. “While I enjoy illustrating books and it supports my life, I still make comics even though they’re free. It’s a medium where I can freely share my values and thoughts, and connect with readers from all over the world.”
“When I started IT Guy & ART Girl, I thought no one would read it because there already had been so many great relationship comics out there,” she added. “I didn’t expect so many people would relate to the series and the fact that there are quite a lot of other IT guy and ART girl couples. Thank you, everyone, for reading!”

"being /fit/girl considered to be a bad thing" What the hell is wrond with this world?
she didn't say it was a bad thing, she just said it's not THEIR thing
Load More Replies...I like her art style but rubbing cream on someone's dry skin and looking at stuff in a store just does not make for interesting content.
I wonder when IT sarted meaning something else than information technology. When couple of years ago many websites started writing about 'IT Girls' I was very confused because they did not look like people who work with computers...
I.T. guy = someone who works in IT, "it" girl = someone who's super trendy (swap guy/girl as required). "It/IT just look similar because they haven't used the abbreviation full stops.

What is "adorable" about these comic strips? For those who are not in a mixed racial, mixed skills, mixed backgrounds relationship in an urban metro, at a tech firm, it's at best boring. It's a very insular, insider kind of creation without many universal themes. imho
These are adorable! But being muscular as a woman is absolutely fine. Idk what is happening with society.
I really like these! They are original, sweet and funny. I also love the style! Casual but still really skilled and cute!
I can't fathom the voting. One comment gets more than 50 votes whilst a similar comment will get negative votes. I think sometimes its the initial votes which count, and from then on people just jump on the band wagon.

If you don't like them, why do you keep clicking on them? The only comments I ever see from you are trashing peoples art or complaining that there is nothing new on this site. Let people enjoy things and go be miserable somewhere else.
