I’m a Scottish singer-songwriter, and I’m trying to create a piece of film on Mental Health Awareness that will accompany one of my songs titled ‘Fabric’ on the same subject. The song is about the daily struggle facing those who suffer from mental disorders, and our film will be an open-to-interpretation take on the song, in an attempt to give the overall concept of Mental Disorders a personification and form. This is a multidisciplinary project using the mediums of dance, physical theatre, film, and of course song, to show how those who suffer from mental disorders have to balance with its burdens on a daily basis.
