There’s a place in Colombia called Cocora Valley where wax palm trees grow up to 70 meters tall.

You hike up there past some streams, crossing some creaky old swing bridges (Indiana Jones style) and through some cloud forests.

When I first saw the valley, my jaw just dropped. I noticed a horse scratching its bum against one of the towering palm trees (said to be among the tallest in the world), and quickly snapped this photo as I knew it would perfectly show off the sheer scale.
