About a year ago I’ve purchased a set of cheap magnifying lenses and a lens screw on inverter to try to take macro photos without buying an expensive macro lens. I was playing around when I noticed that I can capture the thickness of bubbles with the help of a mate white light and a lot of struggle to get the focus point in place. Although the images seem blurry (mostly because the focus line is so tiny) I’ve managed to capture a series of pictures of how the colours change on top of a bubble when the liquid drains and reaches a thin state before it pops.
