Every now and then my friends from Yancey County Animal Shelter come over to visit me at my retirement home. I always get so excited the moment I spy two dogs running toward me on their leashes, being held by the shelter’s workers. I usually have small dogs on my lap, however, on this day, Ernie wanted to lick/kiss me. I never refuse dog love! He thought he was a lap dog, bless his heart. Oh my goodness! He was kissing me all over! And we just met! My friends and I laughed at Ernie’s antics. The other dog just lay down and acted like he had to go outside and pee-pee. After they left I still felt Ernie’s kisses on me.
