I’ve never been much of a history buff, especially American history (as I am Canadian). I also could never say I understand, or even mildly understand what these women must have gone through (as I am a middle-class caucasian woman). But learning some of this history sure has brought me [even more] empathy for the history of segregation and women. I thought you guys might find it interesting too.
