I created this masterpiece in just under 30 minutes. I used a method called acrylic pouring, or fluid acrylic art, and it has forever changed the way I create.

In April of 2018 I began seeing a lot of action online about this new technique of fluid art. People would use high viscosity paints and thin them down even further with pouring medium, then pour them directly onto their surface and move them around. The technique seemed simple, the process and results too transfixing not to try myself.

So I did. I spent some money and bought myself a good starter kit of my own creation, some Golden High Flow acrylics and Liquitex pouring medium. The results, like the photo, blew me away. In under a month I had created almost 15 of these paintings, and with such a fast process (but an overnight drying time) I had created an entirely unique body of work.
