My name is Michelle Petersen. I used to consider myself strictly a painter and had no interest in sculpture of any sort until about two years ago. I bought some polymer clay on a whim, just to play around with, and immediately fell in love with it. Since then I’ve used it to bring together my interests in painting, jewelry and nature.
All of my work is inspired by nature and the beauty in it’s strangeness and wildness. Each pendant is sculpted with polymer clay and painted by hand.
