I’ve Created This Sculpture Using Hundreds Of Meters Of Galvanised Steel And Copper Wire
Initially, I started making jewellery and tiaras using reels of silver-plated wire but then I decided to move on to sculptures. I still work with plain reels of wire but now I love to watch them ‘come to life’.
My latest, large piece stands over 1.30m tall and has taken hundreds of hours and hundreds of meters of galvanised steel and copper wire to create it.
I enjoy the amount of detail you can create with such a simple medium and a couple of pairs of pliers!
