You are looking at very extraordinary porcelain orb. I handmade those spheres in my studio. Orbs have a crystalline structure on the surface that gives an appearance of some strange alien plant. I have a lot of fun making them, I always love science fiction and those orbs look like strange planets with continents & oceans on the surface.
Structures that You can see on the orb are growing during firing in very high temperature (more than 1100C). They grow in ceramic glazes like natural crystals and stay forever. I am also selling them so everybody can have some of his Alien World on a desk at home.
