Bigar falls is easily one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Europe. Located in south-west Romania in the Caras-Severin county, Bigar falls entices the eye with its tranquility and beauty.
It is not a big waterfall by any means but what it lacks in size it makes up for, in beauty.
Called “The miracle from the Minis canyon” one can easily see why this name stuck. The waterfall falls over a year-round carpet of moss which makes the water look like a bride’s veil.
Literally located near the 57B county road, the falls it’s easily accessible by car. Just park in one of the nearby designated parking areas and simply walk to the falls. During your walk, you can grab a drink or a snack from one of the vendors on the side of the road and also don’t forget your Bigar waterfall souvenir, in whatever form, shape or size.
