I have a birthmark on my left cheek. Most of my life I had to face the staring and the pointing countless times ever since I can remember. It was a nightmare. I would look in the mirror for hours, just staring at my birthmark, wondering why this happened to me or how can I get rid of this. I was afraid to show people the real me because I believed they only saw “it”.

Good for her. If you can't change it, you have to accept it and learn to live with it. That's true for many things in life (not just for birthmarks). Bullying sucks and only makes things worse. I'm glad she's strong
Loll I have a birthmark that looks like a goat on my forehead 😂 😂 😂 good for her though I’m proud of her
my mother had birthmarks on her legs. I thought they were the prettiest things ever, and would spend ages tracing my fingers around their edges. I would always ask her where my "birth" mark was, because I was "born" too. To this day... I find all birthmarks uniquely beautiful. <3
