I Gave This Lamp A Makeover With Wallpaper Samples And A Necktie

This old lamp I referred to as the “egg yolk lamp” was given to me after we sold my grandparent’s house last year. The shade was cracked and paint was chipped. Using a book of wallpaper samples, black furniture paint, and an old necktie I gave it a modern makeover.

Cut up wallpaper samples into different sized squares

Used Mod Podge to attach wallpaper and an old necktie to finish the edges
