I’ve been a pencil portrait artist for 15 years and I specialize in drawing for families who have sadly suffered an early pregnancy or infant loss. Sadly, this tragedy happens more than you know and no matter at what gestation the loss occurred, these families are deeply affected and forever changed.
Acknowledging the precious life that was created with a portrait can be a powerful way to help heal. Many families either don’t have any photos from the hospital or the ones they do have they remain private for fear of unwanted reactions. My portraits give families a way to not only remember their child in a more peaceful way, but it also allows them to feel comfortable displaying a portrait of their baby in their homes for family and friends to see and remember.

Do you still draw portraits of Angel babies? My Eldest (he's 7, was 5 when his passed) wants a picture of her but he says some of the real pics make him to sad "because you can tell she's not alive" and he's been taking the loss of his sister really hard... I was hoping to find someone that can do one for a good price, so far the only artist I've found wants to charge way more then I can afford :(
