I have a collection of trinkets – found objects and jewelries which I got from my travels and some of them were given to me by my friends. I decided to turn them into works of art.
I made these ornamental collages because I am at a point in my life where things are not going well as expected and making these collages is a form of release from those frustrations, stress and anxiousness in my head. The beauty that comes out from each collage brings out happiness that symbolizes hope and optimism.
The challenge with this project is pairing the trinkets and making sure that they fit well together. Most of the time, they don’t and sometimes I spent days to see what combination of trinkets that goes well with each other.
