Please enlighten me are the furries people who dress up as animals and have relationships with other people that are dressed as an animal? If this is what floats your boat then more power to you because you are living your best life with someone who knows you and all the emotions that go in a relationship

You're pretty much there! The definition of a furry varies. But I'd say a furry is a person who is in the community of like minded people who enjoy anthro animals or animals with human like traits. Some of us enjoy the luxury of dressing up as our "fursona", a furry persona. We aren't that weird, just different! And thank you :)
