I Caught Two Separate Planes Transiting Last Night’s Harvest Moon Over Austin, Tx
Two separate planes transit across last night’s Harvest Moon in Austin, Texas. I’ve been wanting to capture a plane transiting the moon for a while now and last night I got lucky with two within minutes of each other. The first was really at too slow of a shutter speed: 1/25 of a second. Luckily I got a second chance a few minutes later. Upped the shutter speed to 1/200 and iso to 8000. The planes were about 11 miles away and the moon was 238,900 miles away.
