I Am So Distraught Over The Horrors In Ukraine, I Just Had To Do Something.
I am a 76 year old fine artist in New York City. I live in the East Village, aka “Little Ukraine”.
I donated money to Razom for Ukraine…but I still felt empty. I looked around my studio and home at my unsold paintings. A lightbulb went off in my head!
What was I going to do with these paintings at this stage of my life? My family and friends are all paring down and don’t need more stuff!!!!
I wondered how I could auction my works with all proceeds going to Ukraine. I began investigating charity auction sites…
and an hour later…the Auction “Buy My Art for Ukraine” was live on a site called mycharityauction.com
To date, I have raised $845 and am thrilled and grateful with this small thing I am able to do.
