I was 10 when I bought my first journal and I started writing my everyday activities in it. This habit turned into a hobby. I wrote more than I just did. I wrote down my ambitions, my problems; it became my only outlet to free my mind.
After 5 years of doing so, I, several times thought of making it public. And just one day when I ranted on about the unfair double standards of our society as a caption underneath my picture on Instagram, so many people appreciated it. It was that day and today, I thought I wanted to bring about a change, and mostly importantly, be that change myself. I wanted to influence people. I wanted to raise my voice for all Pakistani and Muslim youth, all around the globe. It became my mission.
And as Henry Wadsworth would say, I wanted to leave my footprints on the sands of time.
