Let’s meet Labuda, traveler from Poland who left his settled life to travel around the world. He visited 5 continets and beat 40 thousands of miles in 974 days. He set up a challenge not to pay for an accomodation. Among others, he has volunteered for several humanitarian projects, worked on a farm in Canada, taught in an orphanage in Honduras and lived on the beaches of Panama.

To share his experience he wrote a book „How to travel without money”, gave more than 100 conferences for 10,000 people in English, Spanish and Polish. He made over 100 videos, like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C7ILjukn3bM .

The latest project is his book release in the US. It will be at New York Travel Festival – 22nd of April 2014, where he is a speaker. This book is a special guide, now unofficially named as a backpackers bible.

The travellers constantly look for and test on their own skin several methods of how to travel for free and make some money during the journey.

Labuda’s documentary movie ‘Nomads’ won an award funded by the Museum of Emigration. It presents answers to 9 questions which he asked the most interesting people he met on his way.

The movie covers a broad range of topics such as what these people considered as their greatest success in the whole life, what they believe in and what they will do in the future.
