It’s no secret that over the past year, political art has played an increasingly important role on both social media and IRL. People around the world are taking to the internet and to the streets with sassy and savage viral funny memes and protest signs and getting more involved and creative about what activism looks like.

This Wednesday March 8th marks both International Women’s Day and A Day Without a Woman strike. Even if you can’t miss work or school, there are ways to express your solidarity, like setting a temporary Facebook profile photo.

While there aren’t preset options in Facebook directly, you can make your own (cuter) photo using PicsArt’s GRL PWR stickers full of nasty sayings and feminist imagery – free to download only on March 8th. Directions below!

1. Download PicsArt photo editor and collage maker for iOS, Android or Windows (free).

2. Upload a selfie, a previously set profile picture, or make a new image by tapping on the pink plus sign at the bottom of the screen and select Draw > Create New.

3. Tap on the Add icon from the bottom menu bar and select “Sticker”.

4. From there, select the GRL PWR sticker pack (tap on the search icon to find it quickly) and choose your sticker.

5. Enlarge it to fill your image by using the arrow on the bottom right corner. Add more stickers as desired. Save your image.

6. In Facebook, click on your profile photo > Set temporary profile photo.

7. Upload and spread the word! Viva la revolution.
