Honourable In A Rude World.

I read the story last night about a bunch of idiots (I won’t call them people!) acted inexcusably towards an innocent server who was only doing her job, and did it irregardless of the incivility of these people(?), I think that Lily deserved that money for what she went through, and then some. And it takes a brave gentleman like her boss who rightfully 86-ed those slime even though they skulked off. You were in the right reporting them, and that they get what should be coming to them… If they acted this way in public, I shudder to think what their company is. I’m a Canadian Metis, a gay man and run a progressive firm here in the States, and I’d say this, even though I’m a buddhist and Unitarian, Isn’t it about time that we SHOULD STOP treating women employees as chattel and less of themselves. When will we WAKE UP and treat them as both the human beings as we are, and as equal 100%. Right now, here in the US, women are being stripped of what they fought for, ergo, the right for being responsible for their own bodies, and their very self-empowerment, by those who are blinded by years of lies taught by an indifferent past that should be closed once and for all. So yes, I think that Mr. Skeet was in the right to give that £1100 to Lily, and I hope she’ll become someone who can walk proud that she has a boss who watches her back, and is an Archangel in my mind! If I ever get to Cardiff, I would be honoured to stop by and have lunch at your place of business, and you guys are welcome in either of my homes in New Mexico, British Columbia, or Washington state and be a TRUE heroic guest, and a person and equal in every sense of the word.
