Photographer Changes The Physical Appearance Of A Homeless Couple, And Now They Look Like Fashion Models
A talented photographer from Nairobi, Kenya, working under the name of Muchiri Frames, recently made an inspiring photo shoot which proved that love is pure and unconditional in its simplest form. Together with his team, they decided to do something special for Valentine‘s day. And this is when they met Sammy, also known as Blackie, in on of the parks of Nairobi, who‘s been living in the streets for a while now.
When asked if he had ever been in love, Sammy started describing his girlfriend who suddenly brought a spark into his eyes. They‘ve met each other on the streets of Nairobi where they both lived, and their friendship soon grew into an inspiring love story. Photographer decided to give them an amazing makeover to celebrate their special relationship on a special day.
“Under the inspiration of love in its simplest form, we celebrated Valentine‘s with these amazing souls and came out with great testimonies. Indeed, beneath all the dirt, tattered clothes and slurred speeches there lies beautiful individuals who would thrive like the rest of us if we offered them the opportunities,” says the author on his website. “Love doesn‘t discriminate, here is proof.”

Definitely a photogenic couple. What jumps out the most is they care for one another. It's great to catch emotion on film. Awesome photos :)

Wow! I loved everything about it! Everyone who made their special makeover possible and their experience should be happy and feel proud. They look absolutely gorgeous and handsome. I'll bet they remember their makeover and what they experienced after getting it for a very long time.

Believe I know what you mean and nothing insulting. Yet, it will take more than a makeover to prepare them. They don't have anywhere to live, alternative clothing and we don't know what type of background they have to even begin the search for employment. it is difficult enough to get a job here in the states, let alone we are talking about a homeless couple in Africa. Let us just hope they get on their feet, no matter what that entails for them.

I'm confused. They gave them a makeover and it would seem, a meal. Did a photoshoot. But they then left them on the streets? So for a few days they were the best-looking homeless people in the streets of Nairobi. It must have been nice to have a makeover and a nice few memories. But isn't this exploitation?
