I was in a place where I only knew a very little bit of the local language when I got lost in a not-touristy area. I asked a woman at a bus stop for directions as best I could and amazingly I understood her response perfectly. I'm sure she was going slow and keeping it simple for my sake but it was still an incredible surreal feeling to understand her so well when I didn't really know the language. The person with me who didn't speak the language at all was really impressed!

It never keeps making me happy when I can to someone in another language, it really should be something that everyone can experience at least once in their lifetime :)

    Plus, when hou travel across different states, the tax is different as well. Does not make sense to me to just post the price you actually have to pay.

    We had a full on Final Destination moment on the highway. A 3-4 foot metal pipe flew off the back of a work truck and bounced down the road before sailing directly at our windshield. Husband swerved at exactly the right moment and it clipped the passenger side back window instead of a direct hit to the windshield. Heart stopping few seconds! Everyone behind us scattered to avoid the same drama all while the driver of the work truck was absolutely oblivious.

    We were in Tampa, Florida, and all of a sudden--I noticed a giant poodle behind a stand just chilling. Of course, my mom thought I had lost my mind, marbles, and was off my rocker--that, is at the top of my list.
