YouTube algorithm suggested me a song I didn't know from an underground punk band. I clicked, fell in love with it immediately. Then I found their album. Then I learned that it's the only album they've made. Then I learned that there's a documentary about them that I missed. Then I learned that they were showing this documentary again after 2 years. I went, talked to the creator of the documentary and the wife of one of the band members. I volunteered to subtitle it in English. I don't know where it'll lead, but I sense it won't stop there.
Got kicked out of men's christian sober house for talking to my fiance. (Who is sober) became homeless. Found my idea of a higher power. Stayed sober. Got a temp job which became permanent. Stayed sober. Moved in with fiance and son. Stayed sober. Apartment was bad. Broke lease and moved. Stayed sober and paid the debt to the old apartment. Worked my butt off and stayed sober. Bought a house.
All of that took 3 yrs for me. Can't say it was the only reason but a so called christian sober house started me on my journey by being hypocrites but that forced me to really do the work to stay sober.
Mine is that I wanted to listen to opera and ended up finding a cooking channel that I still watch today, a new fandom to join, and a new thing to mess up my YouTube recommendations with!
I’m a really smart kid, all of a sudden I start getting bad reports. Why? I was unchallenged, so I was transferred to the local elementary school. School started teaching me repetitive things. My dad decided to move to the northeast.
Moved to northeast and start new school. Meet cute trans boy. Realize what love is and how I’m bi. Then realize I had 2 girl crushes. Polysexual, then realize how it’s confused with polygamy. Pomosexual. That’s the end for now, bc I’ve only met 3 genders. However, I’m probably moving across town too a new school. Not sure if I’m actually pan. If I am, fate will put a cute non-binary and genderfluid person in my life to tell me I am pan.
There was a get together thing at my friend's house with a group of my friends, but for some reason (i don't remember what exactly), they couldn't have it at their house and it ended up at my house. Then, when my friend's dad came to pick her up, he hadn't been in the neighbourhood before, and got lost. Because of that, he drove past a nice house that was for sale, and ended up buying it, and they moved, because the get together got rescheduled.
While working in an emergency department a mother and her two children were brought in after and elderly man drove through a pedestrian crossing they were walking on. No-one was really injured as the car just brushed them and they were in the emergency department just as a precaution. They took an X-ray of the young boys leg and discovered a bone cancer growing. If it wasn’t for that minor accident it probably wouldn’t have been picked up until it was too late.
