When I lived on acreage (homestead/ranch/lifestyle block) it seemed everyone felt they were entitled to a piece of my property. Some of the requests were: * Can you give me part of your property at the back so I can build a house and live there? * Can I come onto your property and shoot the deer? * I see you are not using that paddock - can I put my cows/horses/camels there? It seems that if you are not using your property in the way someone else expects, then they feel they have a right to impose their expectation on your property even though they have no claim to it. It is bizarre how entitled some people feel towards other people's property.
