This could be more personal, or a general topic. Any question that you've been holding onto and have not had any success figuring out. No one has been able to provide an answer and it's either not found on the internet, or you just can't seem to articulate for Google to look up.

Pandas, if you're able to solve a mystery, please help each other out.

I am neutral. It’s not my cup of tea but I can eat it. I don’t care why people gets so angry over an ingredient.

Feels like a big ask but I don’t get General Relativity. I love to think about time but I have no clue when I hear physicists say something about it.

Times is basically a measurement of... well, time. If you're referring to Einstein's space/time theory, from what I've gathered, (and I'm no scientist whatsoever, so I can only explain this in layman's terms), you take the speed of light (186,000 miles) it's a constant speed no matter what. Light speed is used to measure greater distances in space that is too hard to and too big of a number to calculate how far objects are from the Earth. So, instead of saying, for example, a star is 5, 865, 696, 000,000 miles away (which is how long the light from that star would take to get to Earth in one year) we just say 1 light year. As for time we have on Earth we seem to have 2 different times. We have our time zones that help organize punctuality and safety for the transportation industry, and we have time that is dictated by our orbit around the sun, the shifting of the Earth's axis that changes the seasons, and our rotation of the axis that gives us night and day. Our manmade time is an illusion

but the time on a clock is a measurement of where the sun is in the sky. When I talk to my boyfriend, who lives in UK, I tend to joke how he's living in the future from me, and I'm living in the past. Unfortunately time travel is not as easy as that. We created names for the days, so we can keep track of how long we work and take time off. Everything that has to do with time and dates is a measurement. A week is measurement of 7 days. A month is a measurement of... I think that one was screwed up a bit. And year is a measurement of 365 days. I hope that helped.

Why doesn’t BP have moderation? There aren’t any report buttons in the comments and people can say all kinds of awful things or harass other users. Cmon BP you can do better.

I've seen offensive stuff, but it's amazing how quickly other Pandas downvote, and it's hidden. There is always room for improvement, but I think they actually give the average user more democratic power than on most other platforms.

Agree whole heartedly with ya. There's some fun in seeing those idiots' comments being hidden and then seeing the huge number of people who disapproved them. Restores faith in humanity.

Well if you mean trans girl as in male at birth then transitioned then she'd be a lesbian because she's a girl who likes girls

The trans woman would be a lesbian, or at least, a woman who likes other women. Also, don't feel afraid to search things up! No one is going to go looking through your google searches and it's better to try to find things out yourself rather than continuing being unsure.

I agree. We all need to learn basic calculus but kids need to learn things like square roots that they will never use in real life unless they become mathematicians.

Depends on the type of math. If you're interested in history, many fields in this industry require math. Archeology, you need geometry and other maths I'm not fully aware of. You could be having to calculate spans of time lines and people's lives.

I am just confused why American colleges require so much "extra" stuff to get a diploma when it's time consuming and someone might lack the skills anyways.
