CM Leung has been voted one of the world’s top wedding photographers, but even he couldn’t have planned the stunning pictures that he took at a wedding photoshoot in Iceland recently. Because although the amazing photos below look staged, the helicopter was in fact a very surprising addition to the photoshoot!
The Icelandic Coast Guard chopper had been in the area to rescue somebody, and Leung just happened to be in the right place and had the perfect timing to capture the moment that it flew past the bride. She managed to stay on her feet just long enough for the photographer to take his amazing wedding photos before the downdraft knocked her over. Rescue personnel was present to ensure that people on the ground were safe, and although the helicopter looks perilously close, the angle of the beautiful photos makes it look more dangerous than it actually was. Still, this doesn’t stop it from being one of the coolest wedding pictures we’ve ever seen.

After watching the video, I guess the wedding theme is, "Tragedy". Crashed aircraft, search and rescue? How sick is it to use the first responders who happen to be working an incident nearby in your wedding pictures? Love to hear the bride tell the story as she shows the pictures. And, is he the greatest Wedding photographer, or a photographer best portrayed in the movie, Night Crawler?
People really don't read I know in today's world when everything is automated you forgot that reading is a useful skill. I'm just glad she's ok and it really is an incredible photo.

How convenient a wedding ceremony and a funeral in the same day. I guess that would cut down on the divorce rate, huh?
Idiotic. That fabric that blew off could have downed the helicopter. She could have been killed. Stupid.
Unnecessarily dangerous. A wedding day is special anyway and a pretty normal photo shooting ought to bring fantastic shots. Going for ever more sensationalisn and putting yourself into serious discomfort or even danger us something I do not get. I deeply believe that such shots will be admired by others, but the perfect shot for you to remeber your own joy of the day is a spontaneous one with you and your loved one smiling.
Sorry for being boring...but not everything needs to be big, particularly if it is qywstionable whether it is really done for yourself and not for how you will be perceived by others.
