In the latest weird trend to surface on Instagram, bearded men are starting to cover their beards with glitter. It may seem unexpected, but it was only a matter of time after men began putting flowers in their beards more than a year ago.

I'm the guy in picture #6 I can change a tire, change my oil, fix my alternator, replace belts, carburetors... Their male friend is a small minded idiot, just like anyone else that makes such broad generalizations.

how can you call this a "trend" when half those pictures are of the same guys.... it was probably just a project they were doing, and someone out there just took it too far...

It's by 2 guys on youtube who call themselves "The Gay Beards" it's kinda stupid & not a trend. They have tons of beard videos! Can't believe they became that popular

I love the idea, but it looks so dirty... But it would be interesting if more men dyed their beards and mustaches in unnatural colours like people dye their hair sometimes. But then, I wonder how safe it would be to kiss that paint. But I guess there's a solution for this too.

It's a bit scary how many of these look like there regular craft-glitters.... Getting those in your eyes could blind you. To do something like this you really need to get cosmetic glitter; it's less sharp and won't dig its way into you eyeball...

It looks pretty but they would get glitter everywhere and in places they wouldn't imagine and they wouldn't be able to eat, drink, brush their teeth, or even breathe without ingesting loads of glitter.

I've been coloring my beard for years to go with the seasons/holidays and have even hung mini Christmas ornaments from my snake bites when I had them but glitter beards? Come on! Definitely not trend worthy, I just think the cpl guys doing it r out for shock value and if they weren't getting noticed they would stop.
