Family ‘Resurrects’ Frozen Kitten They Found Under The Snow, Names Him ‘Lazarus’

A poor little kitten trapped and frozen under a fresh snowfall has just received a second chance at life thanks to a compassionate family that didn’t give up on him. The Bingham family found his cold, lifeless body under the snow on Thanksgiving morning and nursed him back to health.

The kitten was lifeless but not stiff. At one point, Branden Bigham, who was administering CPR, was almost ready to give up on him – until the kitten showed signs of life! Lazarus, as the kitten was appropriately named, was adopted by a member of the family.

Wow. In 2001 I found a very sick and nearly frozen kitten on Halloween and raced it to the vet. The vet wanted to put it to sleep but I said just wait one night. Next day kitten perked up and I named him Lazarus! He is still with us at 14 years old!

I had one too. He lost his tail, because of cold and becuase heart couldnt pump enough blood to it (firstly it supplied the most important organs) it was almost too late for him, but now he is 6 and half years old sweet black tailless boy

Forget the commentor's voice -- that's not what matters. What's important is the heart-warming story and that the kitten was saved, not the voice. (On a different note: I'll try again... Does anyone else get a message sometimes when they try to post saying they're posting too fast and need to slow down? AND this is my first comment in a few days! BP has done this before, not letting me post, for no reason.)
